"I believe that the body always wants to heal. My role is simply to remove the obstacles, restore the flow, and trust in the body's innate intelligence."
Dr. Lin Wei graduated with Distinction from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine β China's most prestigious TCM institution β before completing additional clinical training at the Guanganmen Hospital in Beijing, one of China's leading TCM research hospitals. She moved to Germany in 2008 and founded Jade Dragon in 2009.
With over 20 years of clinical practice across China and Europe, Dr. Wei brings extraordinary depth of both classical scholarship and contemporary clinical expertise. She is particularly renowned for her complex multi-pathology cases and her work supporting patients through fertility treatments and IVF cycles.
Dr. Wei lectures regularly at European TCM conferences and has contributed to several clinical research projects on acupuncture for chronic pain management.
Herbal Medicine Specialist & PhD
"Herbs are not simply remedies β they are conversations with the intelligence of nature. When we prescribe with precision, the results can be truly remarkable."
Dr. Maria Santos holds a PhD in Ethnopharmacology from Lisbon University, where her doctoral research focused on the anti-inflammatory mechanisms of classical Chinese herbal formulas. She subsequently completed a 3-year clinical residency at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Her clinical focus is on women's health β particularly hormonal conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, and menopausal transition β as well as complex skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis, and acne. She has a particular talent for managing cases where conventional medicine has reached its limits.
Dr. Santos also teaches Chinese herbal medicine at the European College of TCM and is on the advisory board of the British Journal of Chinese Medicine.
"The body speaks a language β pain is a message, not a verdict. Tuina is the art of listening deeply and responding with precision."
Thomas Bauer brings a unique dual perspective to musculoskeletal medicine: a background in sports physiotherapy combined with advanced training in Tuina at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This integration of East and West makes him exceptionally effective at treating complex sports injuries and chronic pain conditions.
A former competitive athlete himself, Thomas has a particular empathy for sports patients and a deep understanding of athletic performance demands. He works with professional and amateur athletes across multiple disciplines, as well as office workers suffering from postural imbalances and repetitive strain injuries.
